The picturesque village, famous tourist resort of Lake Como, is lying on the banks of the lake and clinging to the slopes of Mount Bisbino. On the slopes of the latter there are several quarries from which a gray-blue stone was extracted known and used throughout the area. From the surroundings can make excursions onto the paths that offer the opportunity to see amazing views and enjoy the coolness of the woods
One of the beauties of the country, Villa Passalacqua, can be visited on Thursday, from 9 to 12 and from 15 to 18, built at the behest of the family Odescalchi towards the end of '700, surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden with terraces supported by vaults and walls and a nineteenth-century chapel with medieval sculptures.
Also worth visiting the beautiful church of St. Martin, located in the village, in a dominant position, built on an earlier Romanesque building.
