Predore is a location with a strong touristic vocation: the center of town is situated on a slope between the lake and the hills, and has interesting monuments. We remember the small Romanesque church dedicated to San Giorgio, while in the square on which stands the town hall, there is a fountain dated back to 1709 and the church of San Giovanni Battista, built in 1909. Near the lake, inside the valuable Villa Lanza, there is the Torre Dimezzata (half tower), ruins of a fortification of the twelfth century, a part of which collapsed.
North of the town, in a wonderful position in a low mountain, stands the Santuario della Madonna della Neve, built in the fifteenth century: the shrine is accessible by a very steep road, or walk a staircase of 288 steps, but when you get to the top you can enjoy one of the most beautiful scenery of Lake Iseo. Other paths through the mountains allow to discover wild places, while the lazy ones can relax on the lake.
