Riva di Solto is a small village of only 800 inhabitants, but from the twentieth century, the town has seen a constant hive of activities aimed at developing tourism, including camping places, bars and restaurants, so as to harness the river lake on which it overlooks.
In the town, interesting are some religious buildings, among them being the parish church dedicated to San Nicola Vescovo. The first traces of this church date back even to the eleventh century, although the present building was built in the eighteenth century. Deserves mention also the church of San Rocco, built in 1530 by a vote of the population during an epidemic of plague. The memory of the medieval period is preserved in the town thanks to the presence of many buildings from that period, including, in the hamlet of Zorzino, set on a hill, a beautiful castle; always in Zorzino, on the lake shore, it is worth a visit the ravine Orrido del Bogn, a beautiful place where a path built into the rock and overlooking the water offers views and landscapes of particular emotion.
