Morcote is located about 10 km from Lugano: it is a small village of only 750 inhabitants, but it is a place of considerable artistic and cultural interest.
The village is characterized by narrow streets, arcades of old patrician houses and green gardens. Tourists can not help but see the beautiful parish church of Santa Maria del Sasso: it is situated on a panoramic terrace that allows you to enjoy a lake view.
