A pretty village on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, Meina offers charming and unique views.
Among the interesting buildings there is the Church of Santa Margherita, patron saint of the town, located on the periphery of the center of the town, and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo, in the hamlet of Fortezza, that dominates the area.
In the hamlet of Ghevio there is an interesting building that housed the workshop of a blacksmith (late nineteenth century) that was still active until the late '90s, you can still watch the water wheel that served to motion the mallet used in the workshop.
