The territory of Manerba del Garda is divided into six hamlets and occupies the promontory that separates the Gulf of Salò from Desenzano: it is a favorite destination for tourists during the warm summer season due to the presence of the famous island of San Biagio, more commonly known as Isola dei Conigli (island of the rabbits).
The village's most famous monument is the Rocca, with the ruins of an ancient castle overlooking the lake, in the Natural Park of the Rocca di Manerba: the park represents an area of approximately 900,000 sqm. The exploitation of the area, thanks to archaeological research and restoration of the structures of the medieval fortress, has allowed the definition of a tourist trail equipped with an high archaeological interest. From the castle you can see the lake and the surrounding territory, also there are many paths with illustrated signs that explain the history of the place and help to identify species of plants and animals that you can meet here.
