The territory of the town of Lezzeno stretches for seven miles along the shore of the lake. It has a particular characteristic, due to its geographical location: the town is untouched by the rays of the sun in winter (to be precise, from the day of San Martino, 11th November, till the day of Sant'Antonio, 17th January), and even by the moonlight during the summer. Among the most interesting itineraries offered by Lezzeno there are the beautiful churches in the town: the church of Santi Quirico e Giulitta, with frescoes, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Tears, erected in memory of a statue of Mary that wept bloody tears in 1688. For lovers of geology, there is a very interesting trip to the Grotta delle Carpe: it is a cave that can be reached by boat and is famous for the color effects that will raise the sunlight. It opens flush water in and around the Sassi Grosgalli, fascinating cliffs with sheer cliffs on the lake.
